Elephant & Castle is a collection of fast casual restaurants which started over 30 years ago with one humble restaurant in the heart of Temple Bar. Since then, Elephant & Castle has amassed a legion of loyal fans who flock from all corners to get their hands on our delicious food, and world famous chicken wings. Now with locations across Ireland, Elephant & Castle is a well recognised and much loved brand on the Irish food scene.
Elephant & Castle has proved to be a highly successful restaurant, delivery concept and operating business. The herd continues to grow, and we are always looking for like-minded partners to further expand the Elephant & Castle family.
Wings
We didn’t invent chicken wings but we perfected them! We are the pioneers of the Irish chicken wing scene. For over 30 years, Elephant and Castle chefs have been frying, flipping, and flavouring the best chicken wings across the country. From the cobblestones of Temple Bar to the Rebel City of Cork, our iconic chicken wings speak for themselves.
We Define Fresh
The classic New York style menu in Elephant & Castle starts with the best ingredients. Irish, locally sourced where possible, and always cooked fresh to order. Our secret recipes have stood the test of time, and 30 years on we promise tasty food that never compromises on quality. In-venue dining
Bright, open and comfortable spaces, designed with the customers enjoyment in mind. Intimate seating arrangements, cosy booths and larger private dining spacious for bigger parties and families. That’s what Elephant & Castle is all about, and we make our spaces suitable for long leisurely lunches, weekend brunches and dinners. Our in-venue dining combines these comfortable surrounds with excellent food and drink, and our friendly and welcoming service style, creating a memorable hospitality experience.
Delivery & Takeaway
Elephant & Castle first launched delivery in 2019, and has seen steady growth of this revenue stream ever since, further accelerated following the onset of the Covid-19 situation. With Elephant & Castle’s strict focus on quality control, packaging, and monitoring average order time, we have been able to deliver the same Elephant & Castle experience in the comfort of our customers homes.
Click & Collect has also seen significant growth since its introduction in 2020, Customers can now order and pay for collection directly through the Elephant & Castle website, further streamlining operations in house and making a more seamless customer journey. All Elephant & Castle packaging has been carefully sourced so it doesn’t cost the earth. Every item is 100% compostable or recyclable.

First and foremost, we want to work with partners who share our vision. After that we focus on getting the right locations, suitable kitchens to meet our standards, and of course, the very best people.
Support
We work closely with all franchisees to fully support across areas of marketing, training, operations, maintenance and procurement. From initial set up we help every step of the way during the implementation through to execution as well as ongoing support.
Training
We believe strongly that training is the key to success and our team is our most important asset. Our HR department can assist you throughout the recruitment process, offer recruitment techniques and advise on training and upskilling your team members.
Marketing
We make every interaction count. Press Up’s in-house marketing team drive the Elephant & Castle brand forward with full support across the areas of PR, digital, production, design and brand management.
80% of Elephant & Castle marketing takes place online to drive awareness and online bookings, supported by tactical seasonal campaigns, local area marketing and ongoing PR outreach and influencer engagement.
Operations
Elephant & Castle has a central management team that oversees all brand operations. Detailed guidance and support will be provided to franchisees to ensure operational standards and Standards of Practise are being met across every aspect of in-venue dining and delivery.
Purchasing
Procurement is managed centrally by the Elephant & Castle management team. We are proud to have long standing relationships with quality Irish suppliers who we have worked with for many years, many of whom create custom items for Elephant & Castle. Press Up’s in house beverage and food teams will oversee supplier set up and provide ongoing support to franchisees.
